The Swedish School of Library and Information Science at the University of Borås and Chalmers Library welcome you to a half-day seminar on bibliometrics and scholarly/scientific publishing.
How are publishing practices changing as a result of an increasing focus in the past decade on choice of publisher and genre, on impact measures, and expectations of increasing collaboration as well as competition in research?
Speakers at the seminar are Professor Blaise Cronin, School of Library and Information Science Library, Indiana University, USA, and Gustaf Nelhans, University of Gothenburg and University of Borås. Panel members are Professor Blaise Cronin, Ulf Kronman (coordinator for openaccess.se, National Library of Sweden), Tore Lund (bibliometrician, Chalmers Library), and Gustaf Nelhans.The Panel discussion is moderated by Professor Jan Nolin, University of Borås.
