Chalmers Library runs an annual conference. This years topic is about MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), and Willem van Valkenburg from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, is keynote speaker. He is the manager for production and delivery of TU Delft Extension School. Willem also manages a blog about e-learning.

The universities have focused on research for a long time. MOOCs bring back education as the main point. MOOCs also innovate the classroom education.
